The 2nd Annual Wings Over Flagler Warbird Fly-in takes flight Saturday, March 26th from 9am to 5pm and Sunday, March 27th from 9am to 3pm at the Flagler County Airport with thrilling aerial fly-bys, and demonstrations. Don’t Miss the chance to see Over 60 Vintage Warbirds including the TBM, Nanchang CJ6A, Yak 52, L-39, P-51, T- 6, T-28, T-34, Epsilon, Zlin, MX2, Stearman, and more up close. Come learn about the history of the aircraft and meet the pilots that fly them. Relive history and see the war hero C-47 TICO Belle From the Normandy invasion, to Cherbourg, to Arnhem, to Bastogne, to the Berlin Airlift, and much more, this aircraft was there over 65 years ago courtesy of The Valiant Air Command. Meet the Sky Soldier of Army Aviation Heritage Foundation and take a ride in a UH-1H “Huey” $50/$40 for Vets. The 2011 Wings Over Flagler Event will features amazing displays by Kevin “Soups” Campbell – aerobatic champion, Red Thunder formation aerobatic flight team, Sean Carroll “Yak 9” Reno Racer, Coconut Flyers and Blue Sky Yakrobatics just to name a few. Military support to include the C-130, SH-60, CH-47 as well as various ground support vehicles and weapon displays. “Wings Over Flagler” is one of the most patriotic events in our area. We honor our servicemen and women of the past and those serving now all over the world. We strive to provide a wide range of aviation entertainment and education by honoring aviation’s rich history in addition to celebrating new advancements in the field.
